When last her status was definitively announced, she was being held in jail on charges of violation of terms of bail for appearing with one of the convoy leaders.

UPDATE July 22nd, 2022: Associated Press: Bannon was found guilty after a trial that lasted around five days on two counts: one for refusing to appear for a deposition and the other for refusing to provide documents in response to the committee’s subpoena.
Stephen K. Bannon is an American media executive, political strategist, and former investment banker at Goldman-Sachs, who served for 7 months as President Trump’s chief strategist.
He is currently being tried for contempt of congress, under conditions that could reasonably be described as constituting a show trial. It is Mr. Bannon’s legal position that he could not testify against President Trump due to executive privilege.

]]>Julian Assange is an Australian journalist who founded WikiLeaks in 2006. Julian was the editor of WikiLeaks until September 2018. Julian remains WikiLeaks’ publisher.
Julian Assange has been persecuted since December 2010, when the Swedish government, acting apparently on behalf of the US government, issued an arrest warrant for him.
From August 2012 to April 2019, Assange was given refuge in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.
On 11 April 2019, Assange was arrested by Metropolitan Police. Since that time he has been held at Belmarsh Prison.
